4 Simple and Fun Ideas For Date Night

Looking for ways to spice up date nights? Or maybe you just want to do more things together. Whatever the case may be, I’d like to share some of my ideas about ways to have more fun together. Whether you plan to stay in and get creative or go out and paint the town, there’s lots of different ways to create fun in your relationship.

1. Bon Appetit. If cooking is your thing and an activity you both enjoy doing, then preparing a meal together is a fun and tasty way to spend an evening. Or what about a morning? If evenings sound difficult because you have kids, you can drop them off and head back home to prepare a nice breakfast. Even if there are no children involved and it’s just harder to manage the evening schedule, make it a morning activity instead. Spend a morning together making a delicious breakfast (or brunch). Have fun creating the menu and even shopping for the ingredients together. Who says you can’t have a date at the farmers market? If the idea of meal planning and grocery shopping exhausts you, order and have something delivered and enjoy your evening (or morning) together.

2. Local living. If you are a local and live in Orlando, Florida, www.orlandodatenightguide.com has some awesome resources and ideas for date night. From local events to restaurants, to getaways, there’s something for every couple on this website.

3. Grab a box. Getting tired of Netflix and chill nights at home? Subscription boxes are becoming increasingly popular and useful for stay at home date nights. Depending on your interests and needs, there’s something for everyone. It’s an exciting and creative way to have fun delivered right to your door. A simple google search should give you plenty of ideas for subscription boxes specifically designed to meet the needs of couples. Happy searching!

4. Game on. If you’re dynamic is more of a competitive one, try planning a game night at home. Challenge your sweetie’s intellect with a game of chess or scrabble. If you’re looking for something more physical, try twister or maybe even a video game. May the best player win.

Summer is quickly approaching. Get out your planners and take some time to plan for more fun and quality time together. What do you want your summer date night planner to look like? How about a date night planning party to get those creative juices flowing? It sounds silly but you really can find creative ways to be playful and have fun. What would you add to this list?
